PRIVACY POLICY

AIE Inspection Services, Inc., a Missouri corporation (the “Company”, “us”, “we” and the like), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it at all times.  This online privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how the Company collects, uses, and safeguards information on its website (the “Site”).  This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by the Company through its Site relating to you.

  1. Purpose.  The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the types of information we gather about you, including information gathered when you visit the Site, and information we may receive from third parties or affiliates in addition to that online information, how we may use that information, whether we disclose that information to anyone, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to correct, the information. The Company strives to help visitors of the Site protect their privacy while using our Site.

Information We Collect.  When you browse www.aiefire.com and do not interact with the Site by providing any information about yourself, you browse anonymously.  Personally identifiable information–such as your name, address, phone number and email address–is not collected as you browse.  When you choose to interact with the Site by clicking on the “How to Contact Us” tab, we will collect the personal information imputed by you, which may include your name, email address, phone number and any questions or comments or requests entered by you in the “Your Message” field.  

THE SITE IS NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN AND THE COMPANY DOES NOT KNOWINGLY SOLICIT OR COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THE SITE FROM CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13.  IF THE COMPANY LEARNS THAT A CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 13 HAS SUBMITTED PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION TO THE COMPANY THROUGH THE SITE, IT WILL TAKE REASONABLE MEASURES TO DELETE SUCH INFORMATION FROM ITS RECORDS AND TO NOT USE SUCH INFORMATION FOR ANY PURPOSE (EXCEPT WHERE NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE SAFETY OF THE CHILD OR OTHERS, OR AS MAY OTHERWISE BE REQUIRED BY LAW).

3. How we Collect Information. We may collect information in several ways by your use of this Site, as well as from forms you submit to us.  When you visit the Site, our servers may log your IP address, the URL of your request and other information that is provided in the HTTP header. We may also ask you to voluntarily provide us with personal information on this Site regarding yourself. Although you may decline to voluntarily provide personally identifiable information when asked, some features, products, and services will be unavailable to you as a result.

4. Cookies.  We use “cookies” on our Site.  Cookies are pieces of information that an internet website transfers to your hard drive for record-keeping purposes. How We Store and Protect Personal Information.  We store, process, and protect personal information we collect by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable U.S. federal and State regulations.  In certain areas of our Site, we use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions and we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy and the personal information we collect from you; however, we cannot ensure that your private communications and personal information will only be disclosed as described in this Privacy Policy. In the unlikely event that an unauthorized third party compromises our security measures, we will not be responsible for any damages directly or indirectly caused by an unauthorized third party’s ability to view, use, or disclose such information. Also, administrative agencies or courts of competent jurisdiction may order the disclosure of the personal information we collect. Therefore, we cannot guarantee, and you should not expect the personal information you provide us will always remain private. From time to time, following your termination of a service, we may delete and destroy personal information we have collected from you.

9. Linking to Other Internet Sites.  You should be aware that other internet sites that link to the Site or to a Company email may contain privacy provisions that differ from the provisions of this Privacy Policy.  To ensure your privacy is protected, we recommend that you review the privacy statements of other Internet sites you visit.

10. How You Can Access and Change Information.  To the extent required by applicable law, you may request that we inform you about the personal information we maintain about you, and where appropriate, request that we update, correct, and/or suppress personal information about you that we maintain in our active database. We will make all required updates and changes within the time specified by applicable law, and where permitted, may charge an appropriate fee to cover the costs of responding to such request.  Please remember, if you make such a request, we may not be able to provide you with the same quality and variety of services to which you are accustomed.
